*Our classes are great for building confidence, practicing public speaking skills, working as a team, making new friends and having fun in a friendly, casual and noncompetitive environment! *

FALL 2019 SCHEDULE:

JUNIOR THEATRE CLASS (Ages 3 ½-5)

Kids will have fun learning basic acting and improv skills by playing a variety of acting and improv games designed for our youngest performers.  This class will focus on creativity, imagination and pretend play. Perfect for kids that love to act and have a flair for drama!

*For the Junior Theatre class, in order not to disrupt or inhibit the students, parents will not be allowed in the classroom during the class.  Since this is only a 30 minute class and due to the young age of the students, parents will be required to wait in the building during class.  Chairs will be set up in the hallway outside the classroom and parents are welcome to watch through the window.* 

FUN WITH ACTING AND IMPROV CLASS (ages 6-10)

Kids will learn acting, improv and public speaking skills through a variety of acting and improv games, activities, monologues and skits.  Great for building confidence, making new friends and having lots of fun!

ACTING & IMPROV FOR TEENS CLASS (ages 11-18)

Older kids and teens will develop performing skills through improv, monologues and scene work.  Perfect for both new and experienced teen actors!

“CHANNEL MAGNIFICENT” YOUTUBE SHOW (ages 8-18)

Be a part of our thrilling new concept and join the Acting Out Kids to create and star in a fun new YouTube and show.  Known as America’s Worst Cable Station, bring to life Channel Magnificent’s insane shows. This will be fast-paced, fun and crazy!  New show every session! 

The fall session will start in October!
Saturdays – 2:30-5:00pm

THEATRE WRITING 101 (ages 12-18)

Dive into writing!  Kids will learn about theatre and write their own characters, scenes and monologues.  

Starts April 9!

*We are not affiliated with First Presbyterian Church of Troy or any other church, but we are able to obtain space for our classes and events at various local churches and community centers*

*There is an additional $25 annual registration fee per child for the classes, camps, YouTube shows, films and productions.  The $25.00 annual registration fee only needs to be paid once per year.**

**There will be a $15 late fee if payment is not received by the first day of the class, camp, YouTube show, film, production, workshop or event.**

Payment must be made by cash or check only (sorry, we don’t take credit cards). Refunds will not be given after the start of the class, camp, YouTube show, film, production, workshop or event.
