We offer a Friday night workshop or social event each month. The workshops and social events are a great way for kids to make new friends and to have fun on a Friday night!
Space is limited and advance registration is required for all classes, workshops, auditions and productions. For more information about our schedule or to register, please contact actingoutkids@yahoo.com.
*There is an additional $25 annual registration fee per child for the in-person classes, camps, Channel Magnificent shows, films and productions. The $25.00 annual registration fee only needs to be paid once per year and is good for one year from the month it was paid.*
Refunds will not be given after the start of the class, camp, Channel Magnificent show, film, production, workshop or event.
COLLECTING ITEMS FOR CHARITY
Giving back to the community is an important aspect of our theatre. We collect items to donate to a variety of local charities and organizations on an ongoing basis. Some of these include Clawson Food Pantry, Gleaners Food Bank, Lighthouse, South Oakland Shelter, items for homebound senior citizens and items for animals at various shelters and rescues. Everyone is welcome to donate items whenever they like, but it is never required.
If anyone would like to donate nonperishable food items, toiletries, etc. for local food pantries and shelters and/or items for the animals (dog or cat food, dog or cat toys, collars, leashes, carriers, bedding, old sheets, towels or blankets, cat litter, newspapers, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.), please feel free to bring in any of the above items to any of our classes, workshops and events. We will collect items on an ongoing basis, so please feel free to donate as often as you would like!
We have a collection box for animal donations located at Clawson City Hall. Please feel free to leave items for the animals in our collection box at Clawson City Hall.

Acting Out Kids Community Theatre

I am interested in signing my son up for the Junior Theater class (3.5yrs – 5 yrs). Is the cost $50 per class or in total?

Hi Michelle- Thanks for contacting us! The cost of the Junior Theatre class is $50.00 for the 5 week session and there is an additional $25.00 annual registration fee (the $25.00 annual registration fee only needs to be paid once per year), so the total cost will be $75.00.

Kids will learn acting, improv and public speaking skills through a variety of acting and improv games, activities, monologues and skits. This class is perfect for both new and experienced actors and is great for building confidence, making new friends and having lots of fun!
